These pictures are from a Troop promotion and awards ceremony from inside the 1870 British ruins during their occupation in Afghanistan. I think it ties in with the history of the 2 guidons standing side by side.

Note the Vietnam Battle streamer I attached to the LRRP Guidon to show its proper place in the squadron's history.

Also of note is this guidon and the 1966 A Troop guidon are on permanent display in the conference room and provide a sense of history. Their story has been relayed to visiting General officers and even the US Ambassador. They are, and will remain a prominent fixture within the squadron during our mission.
